Many DH frames need a bottom bracket with a width of 83mm. BSA BB68/73 and BB83 are exactly the same, only the length of the dust jacket in the middle is different, but the price difference is huge. A BB83 bottom bracket is usually 3 times that of a BB68/73 5x the price, so we made this bottom bracket adapter that converts a BSA threaded and Press Fit bottom bracket to an 83mm wide bottom bracket.
